Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-13
We do not ask for Instagram credentials or build visitor search histories. A limited first-party pageview log and Google Analytics are currently active for site measurement. AdSense ad serving is disabled; this page separates current analytics from advertising practices that would apply only if ads are enabled later.
-
1) What we collect (data minimization)
- A public-profile check does not require your name, email address, Instagram password, recovery code, or connected account.
- A public username or link you submit is processed to answer the request and may remain briefly in an in-memory response cache or limited infrastructure and error logs used for delivery, security, and troubleshooting. Invista does not use it to build a visitor search history.
- First-party measurement records the page path without query strings, page title, referrer without query strings, locale and language settings, time zone, screen size, country hint, user agent, timestamp, and a daily rotating truncated hash of the network address.
- The public lookup does not intentionally persist Instagram media. Profile and story error diagnostics omit the requested username, third-party page HTML, and screenshots; media is otherwise handled transiently to answer the request.
- If you contact us by email, we receive the address, message, URLs, screenshots, or ownership information you choose to provide. Do not send passwords or unrelated identity documents.
-
2) Analytics, cookies, and future advertising
- Current analytics: a limited first-party pageview log and Google Analytics are active. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits, device and browser information, referrers, interactions, stability, and aggregate usage. Invista configures page-location and referrer values without query strings so search usernames are not sent in those fields. Analytics is separate from AdSense ad serving.
- Advertising status: AdSense ad serving is currently disabled. If it is enabled later, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to Invista or other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Advertising choices: users can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. They can also review how Google uses information from partner sites.
- Consent before advertising: before ads are served to visitors in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Invista will configure a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework where required. No advertising consent message is currently presented because ad serving remains disabled.
-
3) How we use limited information and third-party services
- Run and protect the service (availability, abuse prevention, security).
- Aggregate measurement through analytics tools to understand traffic, stability, and usability so we can improve the site.
- Future advertising data: only after AdSense is enabled, Google and approved advertising vendors may process visit, device, cookie, consent, and ad-interaction data to deliver, limit, secure, and measure ads, subject to regional settings and user choices.
-
4) Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal information. Limited technical data may be shared with service providers such as hosting, security, analytics, consent-management, and advertising partners, including Google, and with authorities when required by law.
-
5) Retention
Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security, troubleshooting, measurement, and legal compliance, then deleted or anonymized. Messages you send are kept only as long as needed to respond. Third-party vendors may keep data under their own policies.
-
6) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards (including HTTPS). No method is 100% secure, but we aim to minimize exposure.
-
7) Children’s privacy
Not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child’s data was provided, contact us and we’ll delete it where applicable.
-
8) International transfers
Data may be processed outside your region through global infrastructure and vendors such as hosting providers, CDNs, analytics services, consent tools, and advertising partners. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards.
-
9) Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, deletion, correction, restriction, or objection. You may also manage cookies through your browser and, where available, through the consent message shown on the site. If we do not have personal data on file, we will say so.
-
10) Third-party links and vendor policies
Google Analytics and any future Google advertising services have separate purposes and controls. Review the Google Privacy Policy, Google's partner-sites explanation, and the optional Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
-
11) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy; “Last updated” will change. Continued use means you accept the revised Policy.
