We do not ask for Instagram credentials or build visitor search histories. A limited first-party pageview log and Google Analytics are active for measurement. An Adsterra Native Banner is available only after a visitor allows advertising.

1. 1) What we collect (data minimization)

   • A public-profile check does not require your name, email address, Instagram password, recovery code, or connected account.
   • A public username or link you submit is processed to answer the request and may remain briefly in an in-memory response cache or limited infrastructure and error logs used for delivery, security, and troubleshooting. Invista does not use it to build a visitor search history.
   • First-party measurement records the page path without query strings, page title, referrer without query strings, locale and language settings, time zone, screen size, country hint, user agent, timestamp, and a daily rotating truncated hash of the network address.
   • The public lookup does not intentionally persist Instagram media. Profile and story error diagnostics omit the requested username, third-party page HTML, and screenshots; media is otherwise handled transiently to answer the request.
   • If you contact us by email, we receive the address, message, URLs, screenshots, or ownership information you choose to provide. Do not send passwords or unrelated identity documents.

2. 2) Analytics, cookies, and advertising

   • Current analytics: a limited first-party pageview log and Google Analytics are active. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits, device and browser information, referrers, interactions, stability, and aggregate usage. Invista configures page-location and referrer values without query strings so search usernames are not sent in those fields.
   • Advertising: Invista uses one Adsterra Native Banner on selected pages. Adsterra and participating advertising partners may receive technical information such as the IP address, device and browser details, page URL, referrer, and ad interactions, and may use cookies or similar technologies for delivery, fraud prevention, frequency control, and measurement.
   • The Adsterra advertising script loads automatically on selected production pages. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings and privacy tools.
   • The advertising script is disabled on local development hosts. If the ad cannot load, Invista keeps the ad area hidden rather than showing an empty placeholder.

3. 3) How we use limited information and third-party services

   • Run and protect the service (availability, abuse prevention, security).
   • Aggregate measurement through analytics tools to understand traffic, stability, and usability so we can improve the site.
   • Advertising data: Adsterra determines its own retention periods for information processed through the ad unit. Invista does not store an advertising preference or receive a visitor-level advertising profile from Adsterra.

4. 4) Sharing and disclosure

   We do not sell personal information. Limited technical data may be shared with service providers such as hosting, security, analytics, and consent-management providers, and with authorities when required by law.

5. 5) Retention

   Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security, troubleshooting, measurement, and legal compliance, then deleted or anonymized. Messages you send are kept only as long as needed to respond. Third-party vendors may keep data under their own policies.

6. 6) Security

   We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards (including HTTPS). No method is 100% secure, but we aim to minimize exposure.

7. 7) Children’s privacy

   Not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child’s data was provided, contact us and we’ll delete it where applicable.

8. 8) International transfers

   Data may be processed outside your region through global infrastructure and vendors such as hosting providers, CDNs, analytics services, consent tools, and advertising partners. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards.

9. 9) Your rights

   Depending on your location, you may request access, deletion, correction, restriction, or objection. You may also manage cookies through your browser and, where available, through the consent message shown on the site. If we do not have personal data on file, we will say so.

10. 10) Third-party links and vendor policies

    Advertising is provided by Adsterra. Review the Adsterra Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. For analytics, review the Google Privacy Policy and the optional Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

11. 11) Changes to this Policy

    We may update this Policy; “Last updated” will change. Continued use means you accept the revised Policy.
